Ms. Harrison attended law school after working as a paralegal for attorneys 8 years. Her love for the law led to her desire to attend law school and pursue a career as an attorney.
Ms. Harrison exclusively practices family law. Her main goals in representing her clients are: 1) advocating for her clients, 2) to ensure that any children of her client's are protected from litigation, and 3) to place the children's best interests as priority number one. Family law is a sensitive area in that client's emotions are subject to the circumstances of their case. Going through a divorce or the end of any other relationship is extremely stressful for most clients. Terminating a relationship is a death.and results in a grieving process. The high level of stress and emotions associated with family law situations creates the need for legal staff to be empathetic and caring. Ms. Harrison's staff provides the necessary skills to address each client's needs. In addition, all members of Ms. Harrison's staff ensure that each and every client's case is handled with the highest priority.
Ms. Harrison taught at University of North Florida's paralegal program for five (5) years. She thoroughly enjoyed passing on her knowledge of being a paralegal and the responsibiltiies, as well as her love for the legal realm.
